Terms & Conditions

1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Yogaion Retreats, operated by Shaini Verdon, registered as self-employed in Spain. By booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of €300 per person is required to secure your place. (See cancellation policy for details.)

• The balance is due no later than 7 days before the start of the retreat.

• If a booking is made less than 7 days before the retreat, the full amount is payable within 48 hours.

• If payment deadlines are not met, Yogaion Retreats reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.

3. Cancellations by the Guest
Please refer to the Reservation & Cancellation Policy for full details. In short:

• Deposits are non-refundable but may be refunded if a replacement guest is found (minus €50 administration costs and any bank/agency fees).

• Balance refunds are available only if cancellation occurs 60+ days before the retreat.

• If cancellation occurs 59 days or fewer before the retreat, no balance refund will be issued unless a replacement guest is found.

4. Cancellations by the Organiser
If Yogaion Retreats must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments including deposits will be refunded in full. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred (e.g. flights, transfers, insurance).

5. Role of the Organiser
Yogaion Retreats acts as an organiser. Approximately 70% of retreat fees are allocated directly to third-party costs (accommodation, catering, services). Only the remaining portion covers organisational and facilitation costs. By booking, you acknowledge and accept this structure.

6. Travel & Insurance

• Guests are responsible for arranging their own flights and transport (not included in the retreat fee).

• Guests must purchase adequate travel insurance covering cancellation, delay, medical expenses, and personal belongings, including activities such as yoga, hiking, and/or surfing.

• It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to participate in retreat activities. Yogaion Retreats is not liable for injuries or health issues arising during the retreat.

7. Use of Property

• Retreat venues are rented properties. Guests are responsible for their own safety while on site.

• Please read the house manual on arrival, particularly regarding pool use and safety rules.

• Guests must not cause nuisance or annoyance to staff, owners, or other participants. Breaches may result in termination of your stay without refund.

8. Liability

• Yogaion Retreats is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.

• We accept no liability for costs due to flight cancellations, delays, strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control (force majeure).

• Participation in activities is at your own risk. Guests must stop immediately if experiencing pain or discomfort and inform the organiser.

9. Complaints
Any complaints must be raised with the organiser during the retreat so they can be resolved promptly. Complaints should not be discussed with third parties.

10. Intellectual Property
All material on the Yogaion Retreats website (including text, photographs, and media) is the sole property of Yogaion Retreats. It may not be copied, modified, or used without prior written consent.

11. Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by Spanish law, and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
